This is such a cool illustration of form and function.  I wish it had a legend as to what sport each athlete participates in.


Outlaw – The days we don’t snatch, I recommend doing the our modified Burgerner WUp just to keep your snatch sharp.


1) Clean from mid thigh 1×5@50%, 1×5@60%, 1×5@65%, 2×5@70%
2) Power jerk from behind head 1×5@50%, 1×5@60%, 1×5@65%, 2×5@70%.  Working off 1RM Power-clean


1) Snatch balance 1×5@50%, 1×5@60%, 1×5@65%, 1×5@70%, 1×5@65%

2) Rdl (%1rm front squat) 1×5@50%, 1×5@60%, 1×5@65%, 1×5@70%, 1×5@65%

In honor of the season of the harvest, we’ll be doing a “Death by…” conditioning series for the next couple of weeks.  I want the difficulty level to keep the WOD under 8-10min.  Post any suggestions you have in comments.

“Death by Snatch”

Starting @ 1:00, perform 1x Snatch (full) @135/95#

2:00, 2x Snatch

3:00, 3x Snatch

and so on…

*When you can not complete the number of reps in the allotted minute, you’re done.
