151118 – 80mph

“I run a 10minute mile, except when I’m in shape, that’s about a 7.”

80mph… Completely unrelated to anything weightlifting, but numbers simply escape some people.

1) Snatch.  From floor T&G. 1×5@60%, 1×5&70%, 1×5@75%, 1×5@80%, 1×5&70%

2) Snatch grip lift off with 5 sec hold at knee 1×5@60%, 1×5@70%, 1×5@75%, 1×5@80%, 1×5@85%.  Work/practice on finding that PERFECT position @ the knee.  Knees back, hamstrings tight, back angle constant.  Many of us ruin our lift in the first 4″ off the floor.

3) Front squat 1×5@50%, 1×5@60%, 1×5@65%, 1×5@70%, 1×5@75%
