Looking for a mountain-challenge to test your endurance, will, and VO2 Max? Meet us between the Sawatch and Mosquito Ranges the third weekend in June. This will be my 3rd go-round at Pbville so the programming I’ll be posting will reflect what will need to be done to be successful on this thin-air monster. Class WODs will still be Outlaw-based with a barbell, but there will be a shift in the conditioning to focus on power-endurance, and the supplementary work will be lots of running, lots of hills, and my usual unorthodox caveman nonsense. 22 weeks out… training starts today. Outlaw – 30min Tempo run. Warm up for 10 min, then pick up the the pace to something “moderately miserable” for 15min. Finish with a 5min easy cool down.
